Saturday, August 16, 2008. Robert Shaw passed away on August 11, 2008 after a long illness at age 91. Among our last conversations, he expressed sorrow that he would not be able to continue writing this blog. He had a folder full of ideas for postings. After more than 70 years of aviation experience, he wanted to share his knowledge with others. This blog became that outlet for him. Thanks for listening, and safe flying to you all.
